Andrea, Dan and I valued Richard highly not only as a vital cog in our business operation (one of the 3 pillars in our foundations) but also as a true, warm and smart friend to us. We called on his intelligence as an all round troubleshooter many times for broader problems to resolve and, armed with his ready laugh and engaging personality, he regularly gave us a new perspective on many an issue. On a personal note, I have always felt he is probably the smartest man I know, and a great friend. We will truly miss him.
